The Unquenchable Strength of a Resilient Woman

Posted on February 24, 2023

An old lady who has suffered much in life,

A life full of pain, turmoil, and strife,

Though her spirit has been bruised and battered,

Her gentle heart remains intact and unshattered.

Through the years she has seen joy, sorrow, and strife,

But kept her head held high through her entire life,

Through her trials and tribulations, she has been strong,

And through it all, she’s been able to stay calm and composed all along.

She may be getting older but her spirit is still young!

She carries her wisdom and her stories through her song,

Her voice is like a beacon of light that can never be wrong.

She may not be as spry as she once was,

But her melodies still bring joy to us

Her song has a timeless quality that will never fade away,

She’s a living treasure, who brightens up our day!

Though life has been hard, and her struggles have been real,

She never gave in, she always found a way to heal,

Though she’s been hurt and has seen great sorrow,

Her spirit is still vibrant and bright like a new tomorrow.
